wion-beats just consists of one person at this time (officially): Thorsten. But some things will change relative to the music, and so other people will become member of wion-beats in future.

the Person My name is Thorsten (spoken like "Torsten" - so not a typically "th") and I was born in Bochum (Germany)
I´m still living here and at the 6th of March I´ll be one year older than last year (2003).
My job is merchant (in industry) and in past I prevented to study Management successfully.
 
the Music (active) The start of my music-disaster: The beginning of the 90´s with an Amiga 500 and my first synthesizer, the Korg Poly 800.
In 1998 I got my 2nd synth: the Kawai K1 and my first PC.
I put my ideas and inspirations in the music since then and it might be a horror for the publicity.
Within this time (1998) I created my wish to build an own label sometimes. And that was the same time as I founded my first 2 projects: the band Expose Reality and my Solo-Project wion...

the Projects wion
... my first and most important Solo-Project - It stands for House, Drum & Bass, TripHop and something between.

The Tahina Project
... is standing for Dance, Trance, (Synth-) Pop and Beats. For this project I´m looking for a female singer.

Volunteer For Life
... is another Solo-Project of mine. The main theme of the sounds of this project is just (Synth-) Pop.

Expose Reality
... is my band. Together with Hubert I create sounds and songs in (electro-) Pop-Style and we are looking for a singer at this time.

the Music (passive) Maybe noone in the world is able to understand my taste of music. But let me say: I´m not a person who listens to all kinds of music. I select the styles and my favourate styles are (Brit-) Pop, followed by electronic music like Dance, Trance and Synth-Pop.
Very important for me is the melody and the "flavour" of each song.
My favourate Band is still The Style Council, followed by Talk Talk, The Nits, U2, Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears, INXS, Simple Minds and other.
An absolutely untouchable is - of course - Kraftwerk.

In a few days I will put a new page onto another webside, containing my "Top 100" of Songs and Longplay-Albums...
